Product Name          ZETASTAB BR
Function                          Peroxide Stabilizer / Bleach Regulator
Ionic Nature                    Anionic
Application                      Exhaust and Continuous

What is ZETASTAB BR and how it works?
ZETASTAB BR is the indispensable peroxide stabilizer and oxidative bleach regulator within our product range. Specifically formulated to excel in oxidative bleaching baths utilizing Hydrogen Peroxide as the primary bleaching agent in the presence of strong alkalis at elevated temperatures, this product functions as a negative catalyst. While it does not actively participate in the primary reaction, it plays a vital role in stabilizing the decomposition of Hydrogen Peroxide by inhibiting or slowing down the exothermic reaction.

What makes it special and what are the added advantages?
The inclusion of sequestering agents in ZETASTAB BR effectively neutralizes metallic impurities by forming larger complexes, ensuring they remain dispersed within the bath. By preventing alkaline earth metal ions and heavy metal ions such as Ca2+, Mg2+, Ca2+, Mg2+, Cu2+, Fe3+, Ag2+, Mn2+/4+ ions from accelerating the bleaching reaction, this product safeguards against the rapid degradation of cellulose fiber polymer, thereby preserving the strength of the fabric. Furthermore, ZETASTAB BR does not cause scaling on metallic machine parts or impart a harsh feel to the fabric, unlike silicate-based peroxide stabilizers.
Also, by maintaining the bleaching reaction at a controlled rate and stabilizing the redox potential of Hydrogen Peroxide within the optimal range of +250 mV to +400 mV at pH 11 to 12.5, it ensures the achievement of optimal whiteness and bleaching effectiveness in the fabric.

What is the general dosage of ZETASTAB BR ?
The recommended dosage of ZETASTAB BR is 1/10th of Hydrogen Peroxide 50% for Ready For Dyeing (RFD) fabrics, where Hydrogen Peroxide 50% is used up to 2.50%, and 1/7th of Hydrogen Peroxide 50% for Full White (FW) fabrics, where Hydrogen Peroxide 50% is used above 6% in the presence of more alkaline conditions for prolonged periods.

Tentative Dosage and Process for RFD and Full White Fabrics Using ZETASTAB BR

  • The dosages and parameters outlined in the process may vary depending on factors such as fabric structure and quality, desired results, and the specific machinery employed.

In a single line - why customer prefers it?
For trouble-free bleaching operations, discerning customers prefer ZETASTAB BR as their premium choice, offering exceptional performance at a very reasonable cost.
